The LEAD Marine team aims to build trusting partnerships with candidates seeking long term opportunities in the ship building and repair industries nationwide. We work with some of the largest and fastest growing defense and commercial contractors and will leverage your work experience to match your skills with the right company. 

$18.00- $20.00/hour 

1st shift

Our client is hiring experienced drivers with experience working fast paced facilities moving construction material and equipment in the San Diego, CA area to and from our client’s warehouse. Candidates will have an opportunity to work long term with a stable work schedule. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Safely operate all forklifts and material handling equipment at a large shipyard. 
  • Material movement between all inside and outside operations.  
  • Operate company truck to deliver and pick up construction materials and equipment.  Locations will range from client warehouse and facilities, shipyards, customers’ facilities and navy bases.  
Requirements: 
  • Candidates must have a clean driving record. 
  • Able to evaluate the use of various resources and make knowledgeable decisions regarding safety and company standards and policies. 
  • Able to write and read English. 
  • Basic computer skills including all Microsoft programs.
  • Adhere to and promote all company safety policies.  Wear all required PPE when in production, shipyards and clients’ facilities.  Promote a clean and safe work environment.
