We are seeking Area Manager/Multi Cable Transit (MCT) to become part of our team!

Your responsibilities will include:

Area Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance modernization cableway work.
Coordinate, integrate, track and deconflict the opening and closing of multi cable transits (MCT) onboard US Naval Vessels by processing and authorizing work authorization forms (WAF), using approved NAVSEA drawings referencing exact locations of MCT’s throughout the ship.
Lead weekly meetings with key stakeholders accomplishing cableway work.
Maintain a list of each MCT opened and closed for the duration of the availability. (Correlate the RA/WAF and work scope of each MCT).
Interpret marine electrical blueprints and cable routing sheets. Interface with shipboard electricians for tasking and information feedback loop to drive updates to spreadsheets.

Requirements for this role include:

Candidates must have relevant marine electrical experience, understanding and interpretation of electrical drawings, familiar with NAVSEA standard items (009-73)
NAVSEA Cable way inspector certification (preferred)
Attention to detail
Able and willing to work overtime including weekends.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word. Strong data entry and Excel skills to generate reports.
