Install, align, and repair shipboard mechanical systems (pumps, valves, gears, auxiliaries).
Key Responsibilities
– Disassemble/repair/align rotating equipment.
– Read manuals/blueprints; perform precision alignment.
– Hydro tests and operational checks.
Requirements
– 3+ years outside machinist experience (marine preferred).
– Alignment/precision measurement skills.
– HS diploma/GED; background & drug screening.
