About the Role
Layout, fit, and install ship structures (bulkheads, decks, foundations) to blueprint tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
– Read/interpret blueprints; layout/burn/bevel/fit steel.
– Align structures using levels/squares/lasers; tack to procedure.
– Coordinate with welders/riggers for safe module erection.
Requirements
– 4+ years shipfitting; strong layout proficiency.
– Tool fluency (torches, grinders, mag drills).
– HS diploma/GED; background & drug screening.
