Position: Director, ICU
Location: Collier County
Reports to: Market CNO
Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000 (maximum)
Bonus Potential: 10% annual salary
Experience Required: Acute care hospital experience
About the Role:
We are seeking an Engaged Critical Care Nursing Director to lead our ICU, PCU, and Med Surg departments. In this pivotal role, you will inspire and motivate a talented team of Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality care. You will have 24/7 oversight and responsibility for the care delivery process and the ongoing development of your nursing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direction and motivation to all personnel under your jurisdiction.
- Direct and coordinate patient safety initiatives, performance improvement, and compliance with Joint Commission standards.
- Serve as a role model for patient satisfaction and quality of care.
- Oversee all aspects of patient care, including assessment, planning, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation throughout the continuum of care.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4-5 years in a critical care unit, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role preferred.
- Proven critical care leadership experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Critical Care Physician leads.
- Strong background in critical care and knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements.
- Excellent team-building skills and a positive attitude.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, Master’s preferred.
- Current Florida Registered Professional Nurse License; BLS and ACLS certifications required.
