Position Summary:
LEAD Technical is seeking a seasoned Financial Analyst for our automotive manufacturing partner in Smithville, TN. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of a growing and dynamic organization. The Financial Analyst will conduct and document sophisticated financial analysis, reporting, and ad hoc projects. They will play a crucial role in assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, cost control, and project management. This position requires a proactive individual who can lead special initiatives and drive financial excellence.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Lead the creation of annual financial budgets
- Perform monthly budget vs. actual variance and root cause analysis
- Conduct detailed cost variance analysis
Reporting and Communication
- Prepare comprehensive reports for the parent company in Japan
- Liaise with overseas contacts to address questions and requests
- Create and deliver presentations, lead meetings, and report findings as needed
Accounting and Auditing
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
- Provide support for audits and annual physical inventories
Team Support and Special Projects
- Function as a dedicated backup for other team members
- Lead and participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned
Experience and Education Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 3+ years of experience in a related field
- Associate degree in a related discipline with 5+ years of experience in a related field
- Non-degreed with 7+ years of experience in a related field
Skills and Proficiencies
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
- Strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving and data visualization capabilities
- Previous experience in data analysis techniques preferred
