TRAINING & RECRUITING MANAGER
Position Type: Full-time, direct hire.
Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000 DOE
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Position Summary:
LEAD Technical (www.lead-technical.com) has partnered with a well-established manufacturer and seeks a dynamic Training & Recruiting Specialist/Manager professional to join their team. You will leverage your expertise in the manufacturing sector to manage comprehensive recruitment processes and develop impactful training programs. Your role will involve assessing organizational training needs, designing and implementing tailored learning solutions, and enhancing employee capabilities to align with strategic business goals. You will also lead the recruitment and onboarding of salaried team members, ensuring a seamless integration into the company. Your efforts will drive workforce development and contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.
 
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement, and support skills training for various organizational levels.
  • Develop and manage training programs for managerial and other staff.
  • Prepare and integrate the initial training budget into the main budget.
  • Compile and execute a comprehensive company training plan.
  • Promote employee career development and self-improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare, review, and update departmental responsibilities, job descriptions, and skills sheets.
  • Coordinate employee reviews and promotional processes.
  • Evaluate and measure training effectiveness.
  • Develop and improve training strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with HR to enhance employee engagement programs.
  • Design and implement training programs and curriculum with internal and external partners.
  • Develop a communication strategy for training and development programs.
  • Manage non-direct labor requisitions and job postings.
  • Collaborate with recruiters and staffing agencies to identify candidates.
  • Conduct interviews and make hiring recommendations.
  • Complete onboarding processes for salaried team members.
  • Assist with New Hire Orientation and community events.
  • Track and report departmental KPIs.
  • Support FMLA/STD administration and safety committee activities.
  • Assist with ISO 14001 directives and OSHA compliance.
  • Provide management support on HR compliance and regulations.
 
Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or 5-7 years of equivalent experience in Learning Management, Instructional Design, Human Resource Development, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ATS, and other office software.
  • Strong speaking and communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage large data sets.
  • PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws and HR technical knowledge in EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment, and worker's compensation.
