About the Role: As the Information Technology Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and executing various technology-related activities to drive our company's mission and growth objectives. Embracing a cloud-first strategy, you will oversee a spectrum of third-party solutions and services, ensuring their secure, compliant, optimized, and cost-effective utilization. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Clinical Services, Research and Development, and Billing Services, you will monitor IT operations, manage projects, and provide strategic guidance on technology-related matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to streamline and optimize processes across departments
  • Enhance and expand our cyber security program in collaboration with external IT providers
  • Ensure networks, processes, and solutions comply with industry, state, and local regulations, including conducting annual HIPAA Security Assessments
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards in partnership with external consultants and company management
  • Provide ongoing support for day-to-day utilization of solutions and processes, recommending improvements as needed
  • Manage the overall portfolio of technology hardware, software, and solutions
  • Attend and contribute to departmental meetings as required, and provide regular IT status reports
  • Foster healthy relationships with departmental directors, supervisors, and external partners
  • Monitor the performance of third-party partners, vendors, and suppliers
  • Research and recommend solutions and services as necessary
  • Plan, track, and oversee IT-related activities and projects
  • Collaborate with external IT partners, suppliers, and agencies on projects and process enhancements
  • Keep company leadership informed on program execution and performance
  • Generate IT help desk and quality assurance metrics, including incident analysis and resolution statements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing or leading an IT department for a small company
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite and related tools
  • Experience in managing IT contracts and clinical laboratory workflows
  • Familiarity with customer portal development and management
  • Ability to discover, plan, and implement optimized business processes
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and diagnostics industry
  • Knowledge of healthcare markets and customer dynamics
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with ITIL terminology and concepts preferred
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality work and timely deliverables
  • Proactive work style with a willingness to take initiative

Education, Certifications, and Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, or related field
  • On-site work at office required
  • Physical installation of equipment and occasional travel may be necessary
